Its been an interesting journey for Jacob Malmo in the music scene. With the 27 year old having already experiencing life in three of Australia’s most influential cities. Though it was his final move to Melbourne that saw him gain a passion for House, Techno and everything in between. A busy few years in Melbourne has lead to his keen, mature ear developing and the quality of his music choice always to the highest standard Melbourne has seen Jacob go from strength to strength over the last few years. His use of rolling melodies and energetic sets make him a crowd favourite in any venue. Its this ability to read and control a dance floor, that seen him establish himself as the go to guy for an array of international warm up and support sets including Nick Curly, Butch, T.E.E.D, Andre Crom, Huxley, Super Flu, Oliver Huntemann, Danny Daze, Ame, Dixon, Seth Troxler + many more. Jacob has featured at Australia’s major music festivals Let Them Eat Cake, Future Music Festival, Strawberry Fields and Summadayze. He holds residencies at Melbournes most well known nightclubs, Revolver, Onesixone, Ms Collins, Bond, Pawn and Co and Killing Time. Jacob currently runs a monthly club night at Revolver called MAMA SAID and also has a big hand in a lot of other one off parties around the city, working in conjunction with other major touring companies. He has also started working for one of Australia's busiest touring companies, Thick as thieves and has taken a role as a touring agent and artist liaison. Keep an eye and ear out this year for releases and a debut EP. Amongst his busy schedule, Jacob also presents a weekly radio show on KISS FM on Thursdays.
